Twelve Angry Men
Comedy Theatre
(22nd April 96 - 27th July 96)

Review by Darren Dalglish
13th May 96

This play is about a jury of 12 men in a murder trial. One of the jurors finds the defendant innocent while the rest of them finds him guilty. The isolated juror then tries to convince the other eleven that there is reasonable doubt as to the guilt of the defendant. In doing so he finds a lot of prejudices.

Harold Pinter directs this wonderful piece of theatre. Its transition from film to stage has been very well done as it captures all the tension and passion. This is all down to the superb acting of the twelve actors.

All the roles were convincing, particularly by Kevin Whately, Tim Healy,Tony Haygarth and Timothy West. This is a polished production well worth seeing.
